grade-dIt’s been a rough year overall for Reginald Jamaal, who’s seen his playing time and production simultaneously disappear. His brief moments of shock offense and his continued rebounding tear aside, Evans has struggled with even basic looks, and his career-worst 39 percent shooting only looks worse when you realize that 56 of his 59 shot attempts have come in the paint.

Evans is a crowd and team favorite for his voracious pre-game hugs, legendary beard, and winsome boyishness, but in a frontcourt with Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, Andrei Kirilenko, Andray Blatche, and Mirza Teletovic getting big minutes, Evans has rightfully taken a backseat.
