RESOLUTION: Hard to give Paul Pierce a resolution when he’s shown so much resolution already. Play through pain? Check. Consider a move to the bench? He says he’d do it, unprompted. Switch in and out of the starting lineup? He’s only been a starter his entire Hall of Fame career, so no problem.

If there was anything to resolve for Pierce, it might be his surprisingly up-and-down shooting. Though he’s performed admirably in his roles, he’ll pepper in some oddly out-of-line games from beyond the arc. He’s had very few games that seem like vintage Truth throughout (his 27-point outburst off the bench excluded), and they’ve needed that desperately since trading Gerald Wallace for him.

HIGH POINT: Not a lot of high moments for the in-and-out-of-the-lineup Pierce, though I’d be remiss to not enjoy this playoff-esque foul in preseason:

LOW POINT: Other than his constant subliminal messages to the team in post-game press conferences (“I can’t speak for everybody”) or his poor shooting in weird stretches, his lowest point may have come in his frustration flagrant-2 foul against the Indiana Pacers.
