Jerry Sloan
Okay, so Jerry Sloan’s knee-deep in retirement and Deron Williams allegedly pushed him out of Utah. But Williams did recently say that Sloan’s flex offense suited him far better than Avery Johnson’s iso-heavy mixes. There’s no question that Williams played his best basketball with Sloan in Utah and has plummeted since leaving his system in 2010. It’s possible that a re-connection with Sloan’s touch could re-kindle Williams’ shooting touch and penchant for attacking the rim.
