P.J. Carlesimo: Keep on keepin’ on.
Nobody expects P.J. Carlesimo to do glorious things with this Brooklyn Nets team during his time as interim head coach. Even though he is a new voice, with some different variations in some of Avery Johnson’s system, the Nets need a coach who can come in and make wholesale changes to the way this team is currently playing. Carlesimo needs to hold down the fort in Brooklyn by making sure the Nets’ January is not similar to the Nets’ December, and with the blowout victory to Oklahoma City, they’re off to a good start.
